Hazelwood West High School's Matt Leinberger was among three Hazelwood School District (HSD) students selected for the 2012 SmilesLEAGUE Coaches’ Choice All-St. Louis, All-Star High School Baseball Game that was held June 16 at Busch Stadium.

The second annual SmilesLeague Coaches' Choice High School Seniors All-Star baseball game included 34 public high school seniors including Leinberger,  Hazelwood East's Wesley Haskins and Hazelwood Central's Travis Seitrich.

Each of the SmilesLEAGUE all-star athletes was pre-selected by their school’s coaching staff.

Leinberger was a part of the Blue Team, which won the charity event 8-4. Wesley and Seitrich were on the Green Team that gave a good effort.

The game followed the 1:15 p.m. St. Louis Cardinals vs. Kansas City Royals game. Admission to the All-Star game was free.
