Hazelwood Crime: Woman Buys a PlayStation 3 with a Fake Money

And, a person discovers their car brake lines cut. The HPD supplied the information in Thursday's report. Arrests or charges listed don't indicate conviction.

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred March 6 and March 7 in the City of Hazelwood. Hazelwood Patch attained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

March 6

Stealing/Counterfeiting: A woman bought a PlayStation 3 video game console with a counterfeit $100 bill in the 8700 block of Sieloff.

Stealing: An iPhone was stolen at St. Louis Outlet Mall.

Third-Degree Domestic Assault: A man was arrested for assaulting his brother in the 300 block of Chapel Ridge.

Runaway: A 14-year-old ran away from home because she was going to be disciplined for something which happened at school. She was located at her aunt's house in Ferguson, safe and unharmed and returned to her home in the 100 block of Reasor.

Second-Degree Burglary: Copper pipes were stolen from a vacant home in the  200 block of Sadonia.

March 7

Property Damage: A vehicle's brake lines were damaged in the 700 block of Lynn Haven Lane.

Stealing: A person was arrested for stealing from R. C. Toys at St. Louis Outlet Mall.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for having drugs during a traffic stop at the intersection of Charbonier Road and Charbonier Bluffs.
