Armstrong Elementary Seeks Parent Volunteers

The school is holding a meeting to round up PTA members and volunteers on July 26.

Armstrong Elementary is holding a PTV/Volunteer Information for parents on Thursday, July 26 from 6-7 p.m. in the school’s library.

Parents, grandparents and other guardians are asked to attend to learn more about how they can help out at Armstrong.

“Volunteers help make events fun and run smoothly,” said Principal Amy Dittmar in an email to parents. “Membership shows support for PTA activities, plus gives you discounts to some events.”

The program will include the opportunity to sign up for various volunteer positions and event information, and parents can join the PTA for $5.

Dittmar encourages parents to bring along a friend or family member who might be interested involunteering, too.

“Your help makes all the difference,” she said.

If you have questions about volunteer opportunities or need additional information, you can email Ms. Patterson at armstrongpta@hotmail.com.
