18-Year-Old Charged with Hazelwood Burglary

Hazelwood Police say a matched fingerprint on broken window led them to the suspect.

An 18-year-old man was charged Thursday with a March 23 burglary in Hazelwood.

Lamon Bridges, of Berkeley, is charged with burglary and stealing two televisions and costume jewelry with a total value of about $750. In a court document, Hazelwood Police say they found a fingerprint matching bridges on a broken window in the home in the 8800 block of Nyflot Avenue.

Police said in the police report that Bridges confessed to breaking the window and serving as a lookout while someone else entered the home.
